When you spend over 40 years in the whiskey industry you are bound to learn a thing or two.  There’s no doubt that Lincoln Henderson who was noted as tasting over 430,000 barrels of Brown Forman's bourbons brought his legacy of bourbon to Angel’s Envy.  Although Lincoln passed in 2013 his legacy lives on through his sons and grandsons and their dedication they put into every bottle of Angel’s Envy you taste. This unique whiskey is finished in port wine barrels showing the creative freedom Lincoln had when founding his own brand.  The nose is amazing with dark fruit mixing with maple syrup, baking spices, and a heavy trail of creme brulee. If you could transform the nose of this bourbon into a candle you would make a fortune. Upon first tasting you are met with vanilla, marzipan, light oak, and dark cherry with a finish that leaves you thinking of sweet baked cookies.  This whiskey is a worthy addition to any collection with a price point that meets the complexity and care taken to make it.

Nose: Cherry, maple syrup, baking spice, light rye, raisins, light oak, toasted almond, creme brulee.

Palate: Vanilla, toasted almond, pepper, baking spices, dried fruit.
